Crane Train are a Skills First preferred RPL supplier that focuses on streamlined, client focused, upfront skills assessments. We strive to remove barriers that have existed previously with RPL processes by using flexible methods of RPL assessment.
Crane Train are long term members of Tranznet a network of Australian and New Zealand transport and related industries' training professionals established in 1991. It is a non-profit organisation formed to allow training professionals to meet and exchange views and evaluate new initiatives affecting the Transport & Distribution, Construction, Plant and Mining Industries and now includes the National Registered Assessors Association (NRAA).
As a professional registered driving school covering all classes from cars to multi combination we are members of the Australian Driver Trainer Association (ADTA) in both New South Wales and Queensland and both support and comply with the relative Code of Conduct of both state organisations.
Crane Train are members of the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA) and are accredited trainers and assessors in support of the EWPA "Yellow Card". We have scope to include all endorsements from scissorlifts right through to the largest boom type MEWP and the new Transport module. We also cover all licence requirements for the High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) where the boom length or boom height is greater than 11 metres.
Crane Train have over 40 years experience in road transport and fully support the Transport and Logistics Industry covering qualifications from Certificate I right through to Certificates IV in both Road Transport and Mobile Cranes with the TLI07 Training Package. Many short courses are available for both new skills or refresher types for more experienced operators.
Crane Train have been endorsed as CICA CraneSafe assessors (QLD 1065) for 11 of their 16 classes of slewing, non slewing, vehicle loading and overhead travelling crane annual "Green Sticker" inspections. Please contact the Training Manager for further information on rates and or availability.
